No one can deny the popularity of Christmas toys 2008 like the Bratz dolls. Since their release in 2001, 125 million Bratz dolls have been sold, and they have stylized lips and eyes; their appearance is very distinctive, and they look almost like Cartoon characters in appearance. Apparently, the Bratz film will be coming into theaters shortly. The creator of Bratz lost $100 million in a lawsuit to Mattel. Even though kids love Bratz, there’s no substitute for Barbies. Barbie has been somewhat affected by Bratz. What lies ahead for Barbies is uncertain. Barbies are not selling as well as Mattel would like. Bratz makes the majority of its sales around Christmastime. A lot of kids prefer Bratz because they say they are much “hipper.” But be that as it may, Barbies are still very much loved – Barbie & The Diamond Castle Princess Liana Doll would be one such piece of evidence to support this.
Barbie dolls are the Christmas toys 2008 of all time in the category of fashion dolls. The inventor of the dolls was one Ruth Handler. The Barbies’ instant success was undeniable. Out of these dolls, an entire empire arose. The original purpose of the Barbie dolls was to show the resourcefulness of women. The doll was named after the creator’s daughter. The first Barbie doll, jointly designed by Jack Ryan and Ruth Handler, was given to Ruth’s daughter, Barbara. That is the kind of mom we all wish we had!
GI Joe belongs in the pantheon of the top Christmas toys for boys that boys all over truly love. There are four types of G.I. Joes – one for the air force, navy, army, and marines. Because doll is a bit feminine, Hasbro came up with the term action figure to describe GI Joes. Originally, the G.I. Joe line was 12 inches tall. After 1982, they migrated to a 3 and ? inch scale with vehicles and other accessories. The older model being phased out, GI Joe came into the form in which we know it now. As kids would get tired with just one permutation, there have been many as time has gone on. No one doubts that Joes have a place amongst the Christmas toys 2008. The first of the toys was based upon a WWII soldier.
No one can deny that there are some great toys on the list of Christmas toys 2008.
